首个薄层铺装BarChip纤维混凝土路面（TCPavement）在哥斯达黎加应用。
​该项目位于哥斯达黎加卡塔戈市金伯利克拉克工业厂区，该路面设计寿命为20年，交通负荷是重型卡车及繁忙交通。铺装层厚度为11厘米的Barchip纤维增强混凝土。 铺装层建在一个用水泥处理过的基础上，用土工布将基础与混凝土层隔开，以减少可能导致该区域下雨的侵蚀风险，并支撑优化几何形状的混凝土分块。

What the steel fiber industry said could not happen is happening. The first segmentally lined tunnel project is underway in the North America with segments being produced as we post this. More information will follow on the specifics of the project but we can report that the dose rate is 7 kg/m3 of Barchip BC54 fiber. Non corrosive, easy handling, less wear on equipment, less weight, easy to finish, lower co2 emissions, and cost effective.
